Up to 7 cases in Kenya

Three more cases today: a Spanish couple who flew from Madrid through Dubai on March 5th, and a Burundian also flying from Dubai. In March 5th there were only a few imported cases confirmed, so who knows if they had it already or they caught it during the travel or transit. The Burundian showed signs at arrival. This should serve as notice for people to stop taking paracetamol before getting on the planes, so that the screening on arrival can be effective.

And just when it is time to be responsible and reduce contacts, news are reporting that a Woman Who Escaped Mbagathi Isolation Ward Tests Positive and the authorities are tracking the 85 people that came into contact with her after escaping the quarantine. The means should be put in place so that the patients quarantined are comfortable and humanely treated, but running away can only cause bigger problems.
