Bars and other recreational facilities are to close at 7:30pm
Supermarkets encouraged to open 24h while limiting the number of shoppers inside the premises at a given point in time.
Home delivery of food and shopping is encouraged.
Shopping is to be done by individuals, not as family group.
Transport and markets operators to disinfect the facilities.
Employees expected to go on leave when possible.
Factories to operate using a minimum work-force in a 24h shift.
Persons to stay at home unless on essential business.
Patient visitation in hospitals is restricted to authorized family and entrance to hospital is restricted to business requirements.
Self-quarantine applies to EVERYBODY, including diplomats, international organization employees, and anyone else. Those who refuse will be picked up by the police.
And some good news. 44 people have been released after completing their 14days-quarantine. A few more cases have been put in quarantine but the number of positives has not increased today. The 7 positives are progressing well and the persons they had contact with are being monitored.
WHO has published its 59th Situation report including A new protocol to investigate the extent of COVID-19 infection in the population, as determined by positive antibody tests in the general population has been developed. The protocol is titled the Population-based age-stratified seroepidemiological investigation protocol for COVID-19 virus infection. The cases in Africa increase slowly (Table 1) and the picture of the world shows Europe as the epicenter of the quake (Figure 2), with Italy having surpassed China in number of deaths and Spain having lost more than 1000 people to the disease.
