Today I am grateful

I helped someone today. Well, actually, it was yesterday but it only arrived to the other end today. This age of last/minute communication of restrictive measures sometimes catches people unprepared and even people who are allowed to work cannot always do so because they cannot get to work.

I helped someone today. He was grateful and gratitude is contagious. I feel grateful to be able to help him. And gratitude expanded. I feel grateful that my families are ok, even if far. I am grateful to doctors and scientists because, although they cannot cure my migraines, even understand them, treatments have improved and now, a few hours after taking a simple pill, I can function. I am grateful for technology that allows me to enjoy the music of my life while I apply my brains to work. I am grateful for all the materials available on-line that make it easier to exercise during these times of #StayAtHome.

And I am grateful to all those people that have found the way to contribute to everyone's mental health by sharing their creativity through videos that not only entertain but also create awareness and community around the hardship of physical distancing.
